Delete your data
WWA has no sign-up. Your data is linked to an anonymous ID stored on your phone. You can delete everything linked to that ID in the app, or ask us to do it.
Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open WWA: Where We At.
- Open Settings from the map.
- Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account, then confirm.
Ask us to delete it
Write to support@chateclipse.com from your phone's mail app using Settings > Support. That message includes your reference number, which lets us find your data. If you can no longer open the app, write anyway and describe your group name and display name.
What is deleted
- Your anonymous ID, display name, handle and device information.
- Groups you created, with their members, route, chat, road reports and locations.
- Your membership in other groups, your chat messages and road reports in them, and your live location.
What is kept
- Standard server logs (IP address, time, app version) for a short period, for security.
- Blocked entries kept by a group host are made anonymous.
Deletion is immediate in the app. Requests sent by email are handled within 30 days.
