Terms of Use
1. Agreement
By using WWA: Where We At ("WWA", "the app", "we"), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What WWA is
WWA lets you share your live location, talk with a push-to-talk walkie-talkie and chat with groups you choose. It is a social tool. It is not a navigation system, a safety system or a replacement for your own judgment, and it is not a racing app.
3. Safe and lawful use
- Obey all traffic laws wherever you are.
- Do not use WWA to organize or take part in street racing, speeding, stunts, reckless driving or any illegal road use.
- Do not operate your phone by hand while driving. Pull over to type or read messages.
4. Who can use WWA
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country. If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian.
5. Accuracy
Location, speed, heading and voice depend on GPS, sensors and your network connection. They can be inaccurate, delayed or unavailable. Do not rely on WWA for any decision that affects your safety.
6. Sharing your location
- You decide when to share and with which group. You can stop sharing at any time.
- Anyone who has a group code can join that group and see the location of members who share. Give a code only to people you trust.
- The group host can remove members and block them from rejoining.
- Sharing your location carries real risks, such as being followed or having your home or vehicle identified. We do not verify who other users are.
7. Groups, chat and voice
You are responsible for everything you send. Do not send anything that is illegal, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit or deceptive, and do not use WWA to spam or to impersonate others. Group hosts may remove members. We may remove content, delete groups or block access when these terms are broken. Voice is relayed live and is not recorded by us. Chat messages are kept for a limited time, as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Anonymous accounts
WWA does not ask you to sign up. Your account is an anonymous identifier stored on your device. If you delete the app or your device data, you may lose access to groups you own.
9. Your content and our software
You keep the rights to what you send. You give us permission to store and relay it to your group so the app can work. WWA, its design and its software belong to the developer. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for lawful purposes.
10. Disclaimers
WWA is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted, accurate or secure, or that it will prevent accidents, injuries or violations of law.
11. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss that results from how you or others drive or behave. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the last 12 months and USD 100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
12. Indemnity
You agree to cover claims and costs that arise from your use of the app, your driving or your breach of these terms or the law, to the extent the law allows.
13. Ending your use
You can stop using WWA at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or put others at risk. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as disclaimers and limits of liability, survive.
14. Changes
We may update the app and these terms. When the terms change in a meaningful way, the app asks you to accept them again. Continuing to use WWA after a change means you accept it.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer rights in your country are not affected.
16. General
If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in force. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the full agreement between you and us about WWA.
